It's a typical CoD game.

Lot's of hackers, lot's of people screaming "noob". Bleh.

I still play it though. xD
Like, ya know, when that thing that makes you move, it has pistons and things, When your thingamajigy is providing power, you do not hear other peoples thingamajig when they are providing power.

CoD online requires only fast reflexes and memoriaZation of controls and map layouts.

BF3 however...

COD mentality is some akward stuff bro. little kids running around with knifes thinking that there so pro when they get a "360z n0 sc0p3z w1th a kn1f3!!!@112423^@!#&@#*" or when they go "n0 sc0pz1ngs l1k3 a b0s5!"

Expect that stuff.

I keep opening these threads thinking they refer to MechWarrior 3 for some reason.  :furious
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

I almost went with MW3...until I found out it is MW2ish gameplay, with a little Black Ops, on smaller maps... I have never COD on PC, only on 360, however, the amount of "Haxxor!!!" and "u r teh ub3r n00b, i r l337!!!" is rediculous. never heard any of that in BC2, and i played it for a year until my buddies went back to COD. assuming BF3 is like BC2 it will be much better competition, less bs servers, better graphics engine and a better overall game play.

If you still have the Alaskatech internet and lag that you had back when I'd fly near you a year or two ago, you're going to be far too lagged out to do anything but die. CoD doesn't have smoothing code like Aces High does, so all you'll see is people warping everywhere before you die.

Ive played every COD except 2, and i must say it is the most overhyped P.O.S gaming franchise ever made.

Anyway, I think you'll enjoy it greens. Play some campaign to get familiar with the controls
first, then hop online and shoot people. It's a pretty simple game overall.

I've hated MW2 and MW3. World at War and Modern Warfare were by far the best, but the train wreck of MW2 turned me into a battlefield player.

Just curious if people hack the console games to give them an advantage? Does that happen for consoles?  I don't play online but was just curious.

Pretend to make a campfire and stay there. Make sure no one takes the fire and when you die make a new campfire and protect it.
