High School Basketball
« on: January 05, 2012, 06:04:07 PM »
This was filmed by one of the dads.

This is how we played Basketball in PE. No one ever called a fowl.

Number 34 will be an excellent linebacker when he gets to College.
He's just aa tad to slow to play center in basketball.

My guess......he grew up with the 3 Stooges.....Knuck knuck knuck knuck.

#34 is desperately in need of someone bigger and meaner than him teaching him a hard lesson or two since it's obvious his coaches and parents failed.

Kid shouldn't be on a basketball court.

.........and there is another question here. What were the Refs watching?
Number 34 was beating up on the guy with the ball. How can you miss that?

I forget which guy or number, really needs lessons to play basketball or not be on the court.. The guy should of been thrown out of the game with foul 5 of the video. From what I saw the guy does not even try for the ball. Get new refs while at it. The father that made this video made his point.

The guy belongs in football.

No, someone like that who has no respect whatsoever for the rules of the game or the other team has no business in sports at all.  After number 5, I either would have done my best to knock fatty on his butt, or convinced my team to walk out.  Hopefully the presence of mind for the later.

I'm with you Hoffman.  There's playing 'hard' and playing 'dirty' and sometimes the line is a bit blurred.  But all those kids were doing were playing dirty.

I stand by my original statement.  Get a good old fashioned A## whipping and it tends to settle you down just a tad.

I had a similar situation when I played high school basketball in Ohio. We play an inner city team in Akron. The center was a big guy that I had to defend. You can say that I got my butt knocked all over the court from this guy.
