I always liked liverwurst with apple slices on rye bread or on ritz crackers.

Thin apple slices w/ diced walnuts, light (or no) mustard, generous with the wurst, and between two thick slices of fresh rye - orgasmic.

I've tried it, I like it... bust still, wait until I've already had a pint or few (or don't tell me what it is until after I've swallowed it).  I know, I'm wierd, because I love schwartenmagen (head cheese).

It's all your fault Messy, you got me thinking now of any excuse I can come up with to visit this job site.  The free apetiser is rye bread n' butter... with a scoop of wurst. *druel*  http://www.alpinevillagecenter.com/restaurant-bierhall/

(It's a large lot/parcel with more than just the market/restraunt, they do swapmeets and a large Oktoberfest.  We're in the middle of trying to expand their large permanent tent structure out in the lot, the city wammied them on the typical 10%-min total landscaping requirment.  That's all and good, keeps us in buisness and all, but it's a classic case of the city's right hand not talking to the left - so now we're involved in comming up with an agreeable solution between all parties (and implimenting its design).  Most of the lot/property is entirely structures on non-permiable slabs or an asphalt/methane cap, which is required for mitigation, as it was built on an old local dump.  Hopefuly it all keeps comming along and gets done in time for the end of this summer.)
