you dont understand, you can replace all the skins with one that is just a bright red skin for a tank.  the other players dont have to download them as it's not really necessary.  you can just make it the default and it will give you an advantage over others.

As it is now, that doesn't apply though, right?  You can't replace the default skin and then turn off other player skins in online mode to get your offcolor skin to be the only one that shows for that vehicle, can you?

I don't think so, I asked about this same on the skins forum and skuzzy answered no as in only aproved skins can be used online.

but this is where I am confused, AKAK and machfly are saying you can have your own skin in the game, your custom skin by puttin in the folder, I think that only works offline which would prevent abuse
