gunsight dimmer

i believe in ww2... some aircraft were fitted with a gunsight dimmer... which makes perfect sense climbing into the sun... you could still see somewhat and still shoot..feasible?

How would dimming the gunsight help when climbing into the sun? If anything you should make it brighter.

They aren't talking about dimming the illuminated reticule, they are talking about an additional, tinted, pane like a sunglass.

 yea.. maybe some you could hide when needed... flip it up and down...makes it feasible for the game i reckon...
