Wow 2001... I wasnt even born then

As mature as you have been on the BBS I could hardly tell if you were under 15 or over (that is a good thing).

Kudos to you Nicolas :)

he is saying you act older and more mature than your 10 years and that when you are dealing with older people this is a good quality.

could you find anything on performance?

I'll post something more comprehensive later but here are couple figures. A prototype powered with the engines which the serial aircraft were also powered (Ash-82FN/M-82FN) did 328mph on the deck and 352mph at 18000ft. Figures that probably better represent a production aircraft come from flight testing of a No.100716 which was an early production aircraft that was heavily modified to standard which most of the war time production aircraft were built to. No.100716 did 299.5mph on the deck and 339.8mph at altitude. Climb to 16400ft took 9.5 minutes by the same aircraft.

Walk-around pics of the example at Monino: http://scalemodels.ru/modules/photo/viewcat_cid_180.html

Some more material:

According to this table 500km/h on the deck (311mph) and 550km/h (342mph) at 5700m (18700ft). The latter figure is something which I've seen mentioned several times in literature. These figures would make it quite a performer IMO.
