I though the NASCAR segment was well done, I am an F1 fan, and agree with the part about maybe "Americanizing" F1 a bit to make it more exciting. Maybe that will happen with F1 coming to Austin, TX this year. It's just all the stuffy rules like "no celebratory donuts after the race"

that annoy me, let them have some fun. By the same token I think NASCAR and IndyCar could learn a lot from F1 when it comes to safety, they are really cutting edge when it comes to safety and the record since Senna's death shows it. Still not a NASCAR fan though, I'm sure if you're there at the track it's a great party and tons of fun, but watching it on TV just bores the daylights out of me.
Oh, and after the Montoya bit I kept waiting for them (in the interest of full disclosure) to state the fact that JP Montoya is a grade-A prima donna jerk... guess they forgot.
In China I was cracking up more at all the Chinese knock-off cars then the Chinese Stig. Especially the dialog about the Chinese X5 knock-off and the Chinese court system ignoring any copyright claims, then that crazy Chinese 3 wheel deal.

As far as the "Star in a Reasonably Priced Car" lap times. I don't believe the give an accurate portrayal of driver talent. There are too many variables from day to day and season to season to call the laps equal. Things like track temp, air temp, tire wear, brake wear, humidity, wind etc.. vary too much from day to day, even the car has probably changed some as the engine and suspension gets broken in, and then starts to wear out. Obviously those at the bottom just suck, (watch Jeff Goldblum's lap he's absolutely terrible, did the whole lap in 3rd bouncing off the limiter) but I bet there is very little in it between the top 8 or so. Personally I would wager that Rowan Atkinson is still the better driver, just because I know he actually races quite a lot.
