1.  I love the storch, when I log on, now it is the first thing I jump into (call it warm up settling in)

2.  This evening, I challenge a pair with a pair to a storch V storch duel.  You and a gunner, with raw nerves of steel, mano y mano, etc.....

anyone down?

I think 1 or 2 of us actually made it back home, lol.  The Storch raid didn't have anything to do with the mission that followed btw.  We were just having a little fun.

Next storch raid will be at 20k!  I wonder if hypoxia is modeled?  :uhoh

It was funny listening to all the chatter about storches.

I think you fail to get the point.  We were having fun.  Stupid goofball fun.  That's it.  Nothing more.

When I play a game I prefer some aspects of it to be fun.  Which of course, this was.

Oh I get the Point. And I appreciate the humor behind the posts.

But could we not be as humorous with an aircraft modeled that people would actually fly? Would that kill our instinct for humor?

As Homo Sapiens, or straight Sapiens, we could have a Level Soviet Bomber and still fill the air with smirks, gufffaws, chuckles, and general mirth? Why must we buzz around at 60 mph, chucking out orange goo, for these things to happen? Could not another Brit CV plane do it? The TU-2? The Beau? The Yak 3? Perhaps an I-talian 3 motor rig? The A-26?

Me too. I love the storch, and understand why it was added, unlike the OP. From the vbase it is nice being able to recon the battlefield and call out to the friendly tankers the location of that Panther that is hiding and killing everyone looking for him, or letting the friendlies know which way the turret is pointed on that enemy tank sitting behind a berm when the friendly tanks are trying to flank him one on each side...

And they're awesome for making BushLT auger his 163!  :devil
