I don't really care what squadron the enemy is so the default setting for the enemy is fine. Icon range will still be 3k. This icon setting will help groups form up at the start of the frame or reform up after an enemy attack. I think the squad toggle <CTRL> s is fine for the MA. I really just want this for Scenarios and FSO or any kind of Special event. Most MA dweebs do not know that there is an icon toggle.

Cheers,
gus

But events are designed to mimic (as best we can) the same conditions as the historical events (or, in some instance, alternate history*). Not being able to reform after an attack, not being able to make rendezvous with your escort or the bombers ... that's part of the immersion for me.  As is being able to do either without even more icon info than the game provides already. Honestly, I wish disabling icons, altogether, could be an arena setting (if individual skins weren't an impracticality). As it is, I see icons serving but one practical purpose and that would be generic enemy identification and wingman/friendly identification. Additional data, to me, is superfluous. :D

* Ok, ok .... everything in AHII is virtual alternate history/reality.

And I hit quote instead of modify. ;)
