For those that are interested this declassified document shows the location and strength of EVERY Naval Aviation unit during November 1943.

Thanks for sharing this, I thought it had been posted but that may have been quite a while back. You know how things get lost on the BBS.

I've been using this data to build a database tied to Google Earth so you can look at each unit and see what they had for each report. I've been working on it for the past year and half but it's still a long ways to go.

There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

That was a crapload of Carrier groups in '43...  :O
