This is how I'd like to see things.

In the picture below, if you click on it it will bring you to a page I put together to show what I mean. As you click on each "wing" B24, P51 and so on it shows the info for those wings. I didn't add this, but the drop down box with the "ord load out" in could also have a window that the planner could type in a set of instructions for that wing.

I think a planner with way points that could be broken up by wings with mission objectives for each wing would be cool.

On top of that I think that you shouldn't be able to capture a base without being in the mission. They could also set it up so 50 percent of the wing must hit the way points or the troops fail.

I love to see the mission planner used more even if they have to force players to use it.

I think the original mission planner that was used here for many years was very close to this.

You could up different flights with different loadouts, from different bases and give them each different routes to fly.  The planner could use the notes section to provide instructions

The mission planner leaves a lot to be desired.  Especially if you need to change up the planes.
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.
