My question is why do you want to prolong a war? Why have ENY at all. No individual likes being throttled by ENY. It's been stated a ba-jillion times on the boards.
Prolonging a lopsided war, on a crappy map that no one likes, by forcing players into planes they don't want to fly is a tripple fail.
There's a saying in Michigan. "If you don't like the weather, just wait a minute."
Same goes for the AH MA. It won't always be an even fight. But that doesn't require a software solution that forces an even outcome.

You need to consider what this game has night to night and the dynamics of the hordes. The organized horde which is where a group plans to attack in #s. The unorganized hordes are fairly complex and you need to consider what map, elevation of feild, distance of the fight and action.
Some log in and you see that there is a large dar bar in a certain section of the map, high alt feild to take off on and fairly close to the action, most wont even consider if you are attacking country A or B...Most will not even CARE. There is no rhyme or reason.
What you are seeing from the OP is a classic case of "I cant get my game on because I cant control the situation". Map watchers generaly get upset when they feel that their fellow countrymen are not being productive unless they sacrafice their sortie to taking down a few ack guns in town rather than look for someone to fight or they feel the need to assume that country A and country B are in some sort of planned peace treaty.
