Hey guys, i recently decided that i need to get the creative side of my brain going again and i thought thatthere was no better way than to build some planes! Does anybody know any realistic construction kits i can buy anywhere, liek really big, lots of pieces that should keep me occupied for awhile?

Thanks! <S>

These should keep you busy for awhile.

Lets have a contest, we'll all build one and video the maiden flight and see who wins. :devil

Currently half way done on the 1000 series F4U-4 CORSAIR.  While I am making it so that it could fly, no way no how am I gonna attempt to fly it.     :airplane:    :D
We have clearance, Clarence. Roger, Roger. What's our vector, Victor?

Why is that ? If your not use to flying one buy a RC sim's and it will help 100% . I use mine all the time to keep the rust off . I sure don't want to crash mine . I have $400 dollar's worth of FPV gear on it along .

Is that one of the big fancy ones?  I had the cheap $10 line in mind, I think I might get the Cessna 150 and put skis on it lol.

Flench the planes we're talking about don't have controls or a motor, they fly on a rubber band and a prayer.  Some of them you can control line with a small motor I think though.

It's rubber band powered.  Wind it up and throw it, then watch.   :lol

Yep, its the big one.  These rubber powered warbird models are notoriously difficult to trim and get a good flight.  On the other hand the models made specifically for flying are great at, well flying.   :D

Hey guys thank you all so much, this has been a huge help! I'm already looking over a lot of models and getting some orders ready to start building. Going to start with the small ones, and hopefully even build up to my own wooden planes to launch and even those RV's.

Thanks a bunch! <S> :aok
