Python 3.2.2 IDE
« on: February 26, 2012, 09:22:18 AM »
Hey guys,

Do any of you know where I can find an IDE for Python 3.2.2?  It seems like everything is written for earlier versions, and using the command line is awful.  The IDLE that came with it is not a fan of Notepad, either, so MacGyver magic is out of the question.  I really want to learn the language, and Khan Academy (great site for learning math) has a set of tutorials for learning it.  My experience with programming is:

-NQC for LEGO NXT Robots
-MSW LOGO
-VB6

It's not much, I know; however, if I must monkey around with the command prompt in order to install the program, then I'll need a lot of help.

Eclipse looks like it has a plugin for python.

I use it for android programming.

Pretty slick.. and there's help forums all over the place to answer any questions you might run into.

Happy coading.
