Thanks for the input guys. I'll keep at it. My shooting is laughable, but practice will
help that I'm sure. So, if by chance you find someone on your 6 that can't hit
anything but the air around you.... rest easy, that'll be me :rofl

the biggest issue I had was actually releasing the pedal to return to neutral.  I tended to input rudder control then hold my leg there as I crabbed through the air sideways.

I got my pedals about six weeks ago and have had the same problem.  Still do but not as much. A lot of offline practice has helped. I'm slowly starting to get better at using them. But I still have a long way to go.

I chose Saitek's Combat Pro Pedals. I liked the wider spacing of the pedals.
I know that CH has a good rep but they looked a little flimsy to me. I'm 6'4" & have a size 13 foot.    :old:

Some people find it difficult to use pedals with shoes on, and/or to place their feet fully on the pedals while flying.

I've found that I have much more control if I fly with just my socks, and place my toes on the heels of the pedals.  I only place my feet all the way onto the pedals when I need the brakes.
