I see a lot of good idea's on this forum and most have excellent merit! How about a fleet of 4 submarines located on the four corners of the CV fleet, yet you would be able to go into the cockpit from the hangar, just as you do with a aircraft. It WOULD not be able to submerge as a real sub, but you could steer it with rudder and have throttle control on the two engines, just like a PT boat. Armed with 4 torpedo's and a 5 inch deck gun, and a conning tower with quad .50cals. You would be able to break away from the "mother" fleet and attack another CV group, shell airbases or towns or shore batteries! I think it would add something to the already great game which we have! Just think, now you would have the option of not only a aerial attack by aircraft, but a "stealth" demon as well. Of course you would be able to destroy them just as with any of the ships now in AH. From what I have heard in the past and read in actual history of combat of subs, most attacks were carried out on the surface, not the underwater attacks that Hollywood would have us believe. Does that sound interesting to anyone? With the ability of having four "pilots", you could create your own "wolf pack".
