Considering WOFS as a possibility. Can anyone give some insight as to the requirements and the process from applying to being stationed?

Ive read a large portion of the stuff on the internet all ready but figured you guys may be able to give me more up to date information, as well as relevant information involving what its actually like.

If you're going to do flying in-country, I've heard from an old Prowler pilot that the escape and evasion training and interrogation simulation was nothing less than being brutally tortured to within an inch of your life.  For at least a fee students in each class, it would go beyond that.  The pilot himself said that whatever excitement/pride he got from being a pilot was not worth it.  If anyone remembers flying with him, he is Bill DeRoche, callsign "Roach" and flew a Navy Prolwer in Desert Storm.  In conclusion, do what you love, but know the consequences.
