Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.

Has anyone seen Q lately?  He might be up to his old tricks again.  Better send Jean-Luc to investigate.  Better take Guinan, she always puts the fear into him.

So how is the media and all the scientists out for money and attention going to convince us that free markets and industrialism jacked up the sun?

Looks like a combination of sun spots and filaments (possibly compressed areas of the photosphere) exacerbated by the filter used to take the photo.  Looks like the chromosphere/corona is covering part of it.

During the solar maximum it is not unusual to see large dark areas in the Sun.  During the solar minimum it would be.

I look at it like this;  If the Sun is going to go there is not anything we can do about it, so why worry?  Personally, if it is going to go, I hope it does it before April 15.
