Really? Does it?

I have grown up with and served with ignorant turds like you. I can spot the overly grandiose wording and the shallow ramblings of fools like you a mile away. Your biggest problem is that you don't know the meaning of "I don't know." You have built a facade of intellect and wisdom that only fools the dupes around you. Anyone who has actually lived the things that you can only read about can see right through you. You have no real understanding of the world, just a wikiesque, academic glimpse of life and the world. You are probably brighter than most of your peers and I have no doubt that you wear it on your sleeve.

I take great pleasure in exposing fools like yourself for the frauds they are. Some day your mouth will get you into real trouble and you'll get a hard lesson in reality and hopefully humility.

Occam's razor supports me because it takes fewer assumptions to prove that I do not agree with everyone than it does to prove that I am a troll who secretly agrees with everything posted here but annoys for his own amusement.  Not know the meaning of I don't know?  Ridiculous- I'm an agnostic, my whole world view is based on not knowing.  Do you hear me talking about physics here?  No.  A Walter Mitty character would do things like that, but I do not.  Think of all the questions that I ask, many of them simply entertaining (favorite book) or about things that I don't understand (e.g., why Masherbrum thinks I'm old).  I have no facade built for anyone, and if I did it sure fooled me, too.

What would you consider humble?  Clearly, admitting mistakes, recognizing altruist heroes, and being shocked by how much raw brainpower certain posters have is not enough.

floatsome  I am disappointing you didnt check the "facts" before you posted that letter.  and the above comments are not directed at you they are directed to those who pass on such bs chain emails.

semp

i did know and acknowledge that this was old news, as i stated earlier. my point to the posting was to show how much we hear about people who, in the real matters of life, have done nothing. we call junkies and druggies, like witless houston, a hero and cover her with accolades and honors that a man who risked life and limb, not just once but repeatedly to save the lives of those he did not know, was not deemed worthy of.

i am not patriotic, but i admire any one who will throw his life to the wolves to save and protect others, be they soldier police fireman ems ect ect..hell even joe nobody off the street who runs into the burning building to look for those in need of services....their names should be known, their names should be honored, not entertainers or athletes or any other superficial type of employment that never puts their life or safety at risk.

its like the british fashion of knighting entertainers and such......how exactly did they win a warriors glory when they sang a song or pretended to be a soldier for a camera?

we live in a very pathetic world

Occam's razor BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH

actually anyone who read your continuous drivel reaches the conclusion that you are an attention hungry self back patting wanna be know it all child with no real life experience with the fewest assumptions. you take it out of t world of assumption and make it real world fact by your repeated postings.

you are ignorant in the real life applications of the issues in which you speak, you parrot what others have said and attempt to claim these thoughts as your own, you throw big words and theories around cause you think it will impress the unwashed masses.........grow up.

you are an intelligent person, but you have very little knowledge and definitely no wisdom.......you must seek out and learn all that you can, set forth upon your personal journey applying what you learn to the living of life, all while unlearning every lesson once taught, forgetting all that you thought you knew, to obtain understanding of how life works......only then you will begin to glimpse life for what it is and what it could be.

Self back-patting?  No, I have quite the opposite problem.  Attention hungry?  Relative to what?  A hermit?  That's rather tough to define without a frame of reference.  I love how you complain about my postings when you're going out of your way to attack me.  I never do that, but yet you seem intent on it.  Anyway, I don't just talk to other people about this stuff, I even talk to myself about it out loud (bad habit, I know :o ) on the way home from school daily.  This is what I do.

I don't know how to put this any other way, so: When I go to the AH2 BBS, I do not come to act out a fantasy, troll, nor is any other part of what I do contrived.  Penguin is only an alias that exists solely to protect my identity- it is not a separate persona.  Neither do I purposefully use longer words in order to sound more intelligent; rather, it is the slow pace of the careful editing that I perform upon posts such as these that causes me to use them.

The point being Penguin.  Every thread isn't about you.  Part of growing up is learning when to be quiet too.  That' what folks are trying to get across to you.  At this point no one really cares about your latest wall of text.  It contributes nothing to the discussion.

You've missed the entire point. Which is, ironically, our point.
