We had lots of rain yesterday. On the way home as I got close I noted several large trees down with root balls in the air. In the space of 50 yards they were in opposite directions. In my neighborhood there were limbs all over. One of my trees in the front yard shed 3 large limbs. One 12 footer was on the roof of my house and one about 14 foot was in the back yard. Small limbs all over the place.

isnt it strange how all the forecasters said 2012 was going to be another drought year? Thank god for all the rain in texas. The farm is really looking better than it has
in 3 years with all this moisture.

It's only march... This summer is going to be either really really dry or really really wet...

My niece got hurt in the storms.  From what I've gathered, the travel trailer they were staying in (and yes, I asked them why the were in the stupid thing during that storm) got hit by very strong winds.  She got pinned by it and nearly severed her legs...  I think she's going to be in the hospital for a little bit but is to make a full recovery.

Michigan weather has been crazy too. No snow for Christmas and only a light dusting in Jan. We had 2 snow storms where I live within a day or two of each other and that was about 3 weeks ago. We had a tornadoe watch during a storm last week and one developed about 20 miles from me. I agree with everyone that says its gonna be either really hot or really bad storms this spring and summer.

I heard a lot of predictions about a wet spring a few months ago.  It's still March.
