Well, I didn't think it exactly "pointless".  The idea was a tongue in cheek commentary on the rash of "discuss" and "apology" threads which are, I agree, often pointless, or thinly veiled "look at me" threads.

Sorry if you couldn't see the satire in the "discussion".  My apologies.   :lol

I know what you mean. Here lately i've sat here in complete disbelief reading some of these things.
