I'm famous!

Ok......not really  :D

My instructor and I were featured in the flight training magazine. http://flighttraining.aopa.org/magazine/2012/May/feature-cfi-adventure.html#.T3TlAGV1mf8.facebook

I'm weathered in in Ocala, figured I'd post this here.
"It was once believed that an infinite number of monkeys, typing on an infinite number of keyboards, would eventually reproduce the works of Shakespeare. However, with the advent of Internet messageboards we now know this is not the case."

Well done, you really are enjoying your life in aviation. I was at the field today hanging out with the skydivers and some local pilots. The conversation got going about the rivalry between the skydivers and dropzones. The pilots were surprised, no such rivalry exists with pilots and airfields.

Your story exemplifies that. Your Instructor is a glowing example of the comradeship that exists among proper aviators.

I talked to Diz and she said she hadn't heard of it. They are new to the world of aviation (relatively) and I think if I could chat with a UP pilot he/she might know.
