That vest was my old man's. It's Canadian National Team vest. I shot on the international shooting scene for only a few years, went to a world cup in Sao Paulo, Brazil. My gun broke down, and I had to use a borrowed gun.. Needless to say, I didn't shine when I needed to and endedup up 25th out of 27th.
I shoot mostly American style Trapshooting (ATA), and I've been lucky enough to shoot at the Grand American Championships in Sparta, Illinois. What a treat! I'm from Saskatchewan Flench, so most of my shooting is done in the howling wind of the prairies.
What about you Flench? What's your handicap yardage? Where do you kill clay pigeons?
GREAT ! Someone that loves to shoot trap as much as I do . Funnest thing I have ever done .
Our club just shot traps . We would shoot every Sunday . Reload on Saturday and shoot on Sunday . We shot for money . First line was $5 bucks buy in and 2nd and 3rd was a dollar buy back in . Miss on the 3rd line back your out .20 feet between lines . Last one standing got the money . Is that how you guy's do it ?
I won the Mississippi Lions Club state championship in 1985 . Hers's a pic . I like to get back into it but would have to have a new gun . I was shooting a Browning auto 12 light 30 full vent rib and over time it just wore out . I tried to shoot some with a borrowed gun but you know how that goes .Was just thinking the other day about getting back into a club or something .
