Nath,

I am always in awe of someone who has the ability to see things as you do. A young woman in our neighborhood was taking a class at the local college and offered to take some pictures of our daughters one weekend. Some of the most incredible shots that - how do you say - told a story - they are still to this day my favorite pictures of my girls. The difference in the photos that she "took" and the pictures that I would take are just miles apart in perspective. They were not portraits, but the essence of my girls personalities could be seen in every shot she took. You seem to have that "storytelling" gift in the photos that I could see, congratulations.
Congrats to you in your show.

Revolver handle? Lol

Spent some time shooting my old revolvers today, both cartridge and cap & ball. The one tucked into my belt here is a Remington 1875 chambered in .45 Long Colt... Made by Uberti in Italy. Very nice replica. Accurate, and can handle high pressure hand loads.

I had a Italian peacemaker replica years back that looked just like this one:

Bought it for $120.00 (friend's uncle had a dealer's license). The one pictured above has a current bid on it of $399.00.

I had a proper rig for it, though. Similar to (but not exactly like):

Custom-made. Best friend's dad was a leather worker and a former quick-draw competitor. He was a PBY aircrewman during WWII (and his son and I ended up in P-3 squadrons).

Nope. I brightened up the grip as it was very dark in the original shot, and lost in the glare of the shirt. Here's the shot without help...  Can't really tell what it is .

Brightened a bit...

Some of my old west firearms....
