Shegotya I know the feeling. When I heard it was like a hit to the stomach. I left Aces High 2 several years ago after leaving the military I couldnt afford a new computer. Was about to make a comeback but now with GMC gone I dont know about it anymore. But I told his son Steve I would come back to wing up with him. Thank promise I will keep. I am sure alot of people run into the 31st and GMC more then you know. This of course was a few years ago. Ever recall you are to take a base with a cv and in out no where comes b-26 hauling butt and skimming the water. That was the 31st with GMC in the lead. Ever spawn in with a GV to get your tank blown to bits by a plane then spawn in to have a tiger greet. Well GMC. Thinking about taking a base then a set of IL-2 come up to wreck your party. ANd here are personal favorites because I did them all the time with GMC on my wing. Your about to whipe out a poor Bishop base to have a couple of tiffies or Doras show up and whipe out your ord. And of course this tops all of them and I think SGY joins us on one. You come across a lone Hurricane and harass it left and right and right when you think you got me your plane gets ripped in half by a Tiffie or you get a tiffie in a turn fight to have a hurri get you that would have been me and GMC. I have know GMC for years both in game or off game. He helped me with some hard times with good solid advice such as when I left the air force. I could on and on and on about all the things he has done. He was a friend and a prized wingman.

Shegotya if you fly the memorial flight I can not make the promise I would be there but would make the effort as long as I have the night off. But the aircraft should be Typhoons, Il-2s, and B-26s with a couple of P-51 with 31st colors. The Tiifies, Il2s and B-26s were his preferred aircraft.

With many thanks to AH community
