Uh hate to bust your bubble but stripper clips work just fine in a M16 / AR. magazines I used them quite a bit in charging mags in the Army. There's an adapter that fits on the mag, insert the stripper clip and zip the rounds in. Way faster than inserting single rounds into the mags.
