Look, you guys seem to know so much more about this game than I do.  I'll just bow out of this thread.  If any of you really want help, then post in the Tech support forum.

I beg to differ..... I have the 6950 in my rocking gaming machine and it is amazing. I'm sure it is helped along by my P-60 running 4mb ram. :D

 Well I fixed my frame rate problem and it turned out to be operator error on my part. While I did vacuum out what I believed to be the cooling fan for the video card it was not. I was told to pull the side cover off and look for the card fan so I did and it was full of dust. A trip to the garage and my air compressor did the trick and now the frame rate holds at 50 to 55.

 This explains why the game worked fine for 15 minutes than frame rate fell off to nothing. I wanted to share my stupidity here since I complained here. It is only fair to man up when you make a fool of yourself on a public forum. My apologies to HTC and Skuzzy.
