I agree with Karnak. There is lots of guys, some of them in this thread that will beat me more often then I will beat them, but NathBDP was one of those few guys that could get me to say "WTF" right out loud when he would pull some crazy impossible scissor or overshoot move in his 190a5 or 109, which I was also usually in at the time, and just thrash me sortie after sortie.
Back pre 2008 or so I would say the quality in the MA was a LOT less than it is now. For the first several years there were a "few" good sticks in the MA that you could count on to soundly beat you, but the majority of pilots back in the day just didn't have the skill that a lot of people have now. I can remember regularly landing double digit kills, like nearly every time I logged on back then, now...maybe once every few months I'll get lucky enough to get 7, maybe 8 as a max, with 2 to 4 or 5 being a good sortie.
Also, confidence is one thing, but Joachim, come ON! In this company, that's quite a thing to assume or say. In fact, I wouldn't rate myself in the top 100 in the game, but if you want to bet something dueling Spit5's for a humility lesson, name the time.
