Sun-N-Fun airshow pics (b29 inside)
« on: March 31, 2012, 08:04:17 PM »
Went to the sun-n-fun airshow today. I got some decent shots. The weather was crappy. These are straight off the camera as I don't have the time nor the patients to do post processing. Enjoy

I was really hoping to see the Harrier demo. It started raining yesterday as they were warming it up and then it started to thunder so we left assuming they would cancel that flight as well.

my app said 7.5, and I ended up bucking a substantial headwind all the way.

I booked it out of there yesterday as soon as I looked at the weather. I went as far north as I could get without ending up in thunderstorms and that was Ocala - which was absolutely packed with other pilots doing the same thing.

I went flying down in Pensacola that day and on the ground it was <5 but once we got higher it was much more substantial.
