93?! wow I had no idea he was that old. I hate to see him go, I always liked him on 60 Minutes. He'd make any story interesting.
Lighten up Francis

Stumbled upon this while looking for the biography clip. Its an old interview from 1959 Wallace did with a TV writer/producer some may recognize Rod Serling where they talk about censorship on TV and a new and upcoming show called...
The Twilight Zone

Really good interview. And a really good insight as to how far our society has fallen in listening to them talk.
The command of the English language is something that immediately struck me and you just do not see anymore.

Read/listen to the letters sent by teenage soldiers from the Civil War. I agree with you, the eloquence of speech is fading.

The old days were the most entertaining when he was hawking Winston's between interviews. He hosted a game show for a while, too. But he hit his stride with 60 Minutes. There was a time when the 4 most feared words in the English language were "Mike Wallace is here".
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.
