I'm not very familiar with the AMD CPUs, but the Intel i3 2120 should be adequate.  Any one of those video cards (AMD 6770, AMD 6970, nVidia GTX 550 Ti) should be fine, too.

Search through recent threads in this forum about power supplies, though.  You *really* do not want to experience flaky power!

My first thoughts too,the PSU could be thought of as fuel, you wouldnt put 87 octane in a hi compression engine would you? There's plenty of ways to save some money with a new comp build, reuse an old drive or CD/dvdrom,but dont cheap out on the psu.

A few years back I built my first "custom" comp and I went with a 500 watt PSU by antec......  First it was barely enough power and second it was an antec psu..... :o   My present unit has a corsair 750 watt psu and it's been flawless,I'll likely use it to power my next machine until I can get a better PSU,if I even need 1.
