I finally got a gaming rig!

For those of you who know me, you were aware that I flew on a Dell HP laptop. Yesterday I received 5 boxes in the mail with this computer in it! Graphics are a not as good as expected, but I can always upgrade it!! Here are my specs!

Windows 7 Home Premium
2 sticks of 4Gb ram 8 Gb total
2Tb (terabyte=1000Gb) Hard Drive
Cooler master HAF 912 case
8400 Nvidia GeForce (HDMI, dual link DVI-I, D-Sub)
Gigabyte Turbo 3D Motherboard
AMD Phenom II x4 955 Black Edition CPU
(stock CPU fan)
Red 120 mm lighted fan 
600 watt PSU
(Not sure what brand but it was a pretty expensive PSU)
Net gear N-1200 wireless receiver
And I have it hooked up to my 60 inch LCD LG tv!! So I'm proud of it!!

I can't imagine how bad it looks on a 60" screen. You should definitely upgrade that card when you can. Other than that I'm sure it beats the hell out of flying on a laptop.
Your graphics aren't that great because that video card is one step up from this

Well I will upgrade the graphics! Probably raid a couple together, but this was a gift to myself! Next summer I'll be off to US Marine Crops basic training in San Diego! So I'll enjoy it while it last!! About a year!

i think the point they were trying to make is that he spent some good money on a nice computer but wont be able to see the benefit of it unless he had spend and extra 50 or 60 bucks to get a better video card.

he doesn have a nice system but the video card is slowing it down.

You don't "raid" video cards together.  Depending on the type, you either connect them SLI (Nvidia) or Crossfire (ATI).  When someone mentions "Raid" they are referencing the storage technology that combines multiple disk drive components into a logical unit.
