Just found an EVGA X58SLI w/ i7-920 and RAM in it
« on: April 10, 2012, 04:07:59 PM »
I thought I had sold this board with CPU and RAM in it. I am going to set it up and see if it will still boot and if so then I may toss it together as a quickie system and give it to my boys and then sell their older Core2Duo rig which still plays AH nicely.

They just want something that will play Total War: Shogun 2 at a nice frame rate instead of crawling along.

Yeah it is a board that I ran for 2 years with that same CPU in it and had ZERO problems with it as well. Now just need to get a good PSU and they are in like flynn.
