P-51D specularity map bug?
« on: May 21, 2012, 10:24:44 PM »
Check out this leading edge section of the tail - it appears to have a different specularity appearance than is should, according to the default spec map.  Inset shows a skin I'm working on, it has the same problem area - yet in the spec map file, this small segment of the tail has the same fill color as the rest of the tail.  What gives?

It is just the way it shades in certain light.  It has been this way since I first made it.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up Superfly.  I've also notice a strange area on the dorsal section - between the rear of the canopy and the start of the tail; it just seems to look different than the bordering skin sections, even if you have exactly the same texture applied.
