BarDar
« on: May 03, 2012, 02:55:29 PM »
I know this has been wished for before but I thought this particular way might be a little different ... same premise though .... It would be nice if the enemy portion of the bar had the ability to show the difference of the two opposing side forces within the area showing the percentage in the single bar we have .. maybe even have it linked (have no idea if possible) to the colours we have set for the opposing teams ...(I have changed my colours from the default) ... This way, especially in the wee smalls of America, knowing which side could do with a hand (I am a defender mostly)... as i have seen big red dars flashing bases, and look at the numbers jump. I jump to the lower numbers side only to find that they are the ones hording..(so to speak) and I can not change again till later (please don't get started on that part.. this is how it is and adapt and over come I say) and I am a selfish bugger and don't like to fly in big groups of green ... the red ones are MINE I tell you, ALL MINE!!!!  hahahaha

Can't think of a good reason not to do it.

Wiley.
If you think you are having a 1v1 in the Main Arena, your SA has failed you.

I don't know about an acurate percentage, but I feel it could go for some expanded visual representation above and beynd its current max full dar bar limit.  Say after the full dar bar to yellow highlight box for the sector representing a small horde(20+), to orange for a medium horde(35+), to solid red for a mega enemy horde (50+).

I'm actually looking to differentiate between the two opposing sides ... how many is less important... so for instance ...if I am bish and it is quiet and I decide I will switch sides to find some action...as it is now my two opposing sides show as one dar... I see a big red dar and think..yes that's where I want to be .... my issue now though is...which side is actully making that dar...I have twice now moved to the low number side, only to find that they are the majority of the red dar ... so there I am again with little to do... I know there is more to the game than just fighting but there is also more for me than joining in a large group only to get an assist if lucky .... although I may whinge from time to time..I do like to be the one handing out the assists  :D

I know what you're saying.  One way to do this is to utilise the country status on the clipboard, sometimes it's easy to tell which side to join when side B has 60 in flight and side C has 38.  Another way is to do recon, up from your current country and make a one-way trip to the hot sector between the other two countries.  Some maps this is hard, but on others it's really easy.  Lastly, and probabley the best, just start asking other players you know on the other country what's going on.

Often times, just taking that extra 5-10 minutes to "make sure" , time passes and some fight kicks up in your current country or the fight you were wanting to rush off to suddenly dies because they porked the hangers.

Even 200 can be used... just remember for each truthful answer, there's a dozen smartarse ones.

"Hey guys, I'm bored, Country X or Y want to grovel for my help, where's the free/easy meals?"
^ You're doing it WRONG.

"Hey guys, just logged on, how's it going?  Where's the newest fight?  PersonaA, want some tasty B-38, where you at?  PersonaB, picking by yourself at 25k tonight... can I come?"
^ Getting closer.
