Integrated Graphics Chip Sucks

Sorry...  been working a ton lately.  Board is the AAHD2-HY.

I'm not sure if I'm just not searching correctly or what, but I can't find any information on BIOS upgrades or pin settings to disable the chip, or anything on setting up crossfire with an integrated GPU.  If anyone has any experience or insight, it'd be super helpful.  I'm about an hour away from taking my power supply out and boxing it back up and returning the damn thing...  but I'd rather not pay a 15% restocking fee, especially if it's something I can do, but just can't figure out.

Looking into it, I see that many people have had a simmilar complaint and there doesn't seem to be much to do with anything.  The only answer I can get from HP support is that the PCIE slot is for "Dual Monitor Support" and not for graphics enhancement.

So I'll be taking this back later today, probably shell out another $150 bucks, but go with what I originally wanted and was talked out of for this thing.

Forked out the extra couple hundred and got something made for gaming...  Right out of the box and looking wonderful.  I never realized what I was missing when a plane is on fire in midair.  Absolutely fantastic.

Now I just need to get used to this keyboard and quit getting disoriented and nausious from the shadows.

good to hear wilbur. hope they didn't charge you a fee for the sales rep selling you a crap system. retail box systems aren't generally the best choice but if you can get the performance you want, that's half the battle.
