That almost sounds like something worth pondering... almost.

A preselected menu of VOX T_Key channels that you can toggel through with a mapped button.

Mapped (Button 13): First press shows the current channel. For each subsiquent press will show a channel change on the edge of the screen for tuneable VOX from a list of 5 channels as you cycle through them. Then dissapere after 5 seconds of no activity tuned to the last channel selected. List is hand populated into a dropdown edit menu. List can have 1-5 entries. Each button press selected channel will show up as the default tunable T_Key function channel in the radio bar.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This also could become a mapped graphic to a radio channel wheel in each cockpit so that you press the button and your 5 channels are cycled through. After participating in a few FSO's and Frames I can see strong use for this in coordinating the forces and even wingman pairs or combat groups.

Original Concept

     (tuned 122)
122<--First button press shows current tuned channel.
122<--button13 press
135<--button13 press
111<--button13 press
151<--button13 press
223<--button13 press
(tuned 223)<--blank screen after 5 seconds of no activity tuned to the last channel cycled from the list.
223<--First button press shows current tuned channel.
122<--button13 press
135<--button13 press
111<--button13 press
(tuned 111)<--blank screen after 5 seconds of no activity tuned to the last channel cycled from the list.

Downsides: Many accidental VOX guests on squad channels. Probably more programing than is worth the time for HTC. Might be some copywrite issues with other team style speech programs.
