This is just a friendly hint to all CiCs and players. Talking openly on country channel prior to launch about operational plans is not a good idea. Any player that logs in to the SEA may not be in their assigned country right away and they can easily see text where plans are being discussed. Its better to have an assigned command channel and also use squad channel and/or PMs for planning conversations. The CMs cannot control where players go before roll and we don't have the time or manpower to chase everybody around like that.
We barely have enough time for squad issues, logging issues and getting the terrain ready to go for T+0. So the best defense is to not be too "gabby" re plans prior to launch on ch.2 (green channel). Use the many other options you have and encourage your fellow side players to do the same.
That said if we catch anybody deliberately trying to "spy" they will be getting a long vacation from FSO. Its a direct affront to the spirit of the event and the FSO Team won't stand for it. For anybody that has ideas along those lines
consider this the only warning you are going to get. Spies are
shot in wartime. Here we just
ban you.
As with all issues in FSO im thankfull that we have very few issues of bad behavior. FSO continues to be attended by a great community! and I am thankfull my job is not difficult as a result.
