couple screenshots from fso
« on: June 10, 2012, 02:52:03 PM »

our squad was defending this week. it was a blast.......

28k alt, and those tiny black dots ain't me friends...i managed to avoid being spotted by them, as i had gotten seperated from all but one in my squad....and neither of us thought it smart to take that mob on!

little later, lost some alt in a quick scrap, an ended up here..

i couldn't find the rest of the squad, and was alone now, but kept hearing for help with bogies on the deck, so down i went......

the fighting stayed in pretty close....the 109's that had originally been flying high cover came down to play.....

Heh, looks like you saw more action than I did.

Although I will share one screenshot. It and some more will be posted in the everyday screenshots thread in the film/screenshots forum if anybody wants to check them out.

I had a hard time finding some good screenshots this time. Most of it was rather boring and chasing a stick-stirrer 2 sectors to his own ack and then trying for an hour (and failing) to get back into the fight after a quick hotpad. However, there were a few brief moments early on that I have tried my best to dramatize with creative framing to make them look more exciting than they probably were. Enjoy!

i guess possibly i should've put this over there........

it's hard as hell to try to avoid that which one is used to simply jumping into, such as when i used to fly midwar.  i am having a blast in the fso's though.

also note, that on the one with the 109 just to the right of the gunsight, i left the icon showing. it showed D200, but according to the film, it was D145. i like this sight, due to the fact that those rings are actually calibrated......when the outer's full(as it would be in this pic) i know i'm about 150 to 200 from him.

I took radiator damage, managed to glide back to a friendly airfield but just couldn't put her down. Overshot the runway and treed myself.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!
