I'm wireless and have no problems.

I think it is the wireless thingy on my laptop is a bit poor. It often drops out even when the internet is running fine on TiVO or the PS3. It's pretty solid when wired.

I moved my router upstairs in the same room as my PC.  They are about 10ft apart now.  Perfect signal.
