I guessed so when I read your 'location'. What's the meaning of it?  :headscratch:

No doubt a product of google translate. It spit out: I play Aces High in my basement to kill bishops that I find stupid   :headscratch:

In German, it actually reads like this: You play Acees High in my basement waits that find, I dumb Bishops to kill.

You started this thread and it was obviously about your want and desire in spite of your use of 'we' and Google.

i'm curious if there is a place in aces high for artillery pieces

would it be useful or even effective to have 2 or 3 guys with large artillery firing at a town how would you do it (like me visual like current tanks, or make it like ship fired guns in land mode)

where i could see a use for them is those pesky bases where there is no shore battery.

hmm i don't know they wouldn't be useful in tank to tank battle but in the capture base or defense of bases they might be

the one good or bad side i could see is someone taking one outside a bases that's being captured zeroing in on the map room and just laying in a few rounds every time troops are running

It could work, but really it would be a weapon best used en-mass, unless we want to introduce 150mm-sized weapons, opening the door to abuse by mega squads.

But really, I think the Wespe, Priest, and MAYBE the Brummbar (as a high-perk assult gun) would be our best bet.

IMO, they should get a modified land-gunner mode. They click on a target on the map, and it shows the coordinates of the point they clicked on. There would be a second set of measures giving the current range and bearing of their weapon. They would have to manually aim their weapon, and correct for recoil after firing.

Results from the map are imprecise at first, but get more and more accurate the longer you hold possition.
