bobble head
« on: June 30, 2012, 09:50:11 AM »
I coulda thought of a different subject title but what the heck.

I was on a long road trip yesterday and was reclined in the passenger seat trying to nod off. As I as nodding off, I noticed my head rocking back and forth with the wind gusts, road variances and steering inputs and this got me thinking.
I was wondering about having some random head movements to simulate wind gusts and stick inputs etc...
Nothing crazy like what you get with this guy  :x when in compression. Something subtle when you are flying out to the fight you might get a slight movement when the plane is pushed a bit by wind. I'm not talking about remodeling flight physics but just random motions. Also when in a dog fight, getting pushed down in your seat and the more G's the more the movement.
These movements could be toggles on or off too and also not so much movement as to lose the gunsight on the HUD.

So, my wish is subtle random head movements to simulate wind gusts and flight control inputs. :airplane:
Thanks,
fuddy

I think that would be hard to do especially for the guys who use TRACK IR. :P

Confused,  I meant that if someone using TRACK-IR is moving his head at all times; how would the game make random head movements?

This wishful feature will have have an "on off" feature, if you have Track IR.
