Well thats your biased opinion.  Personally MY opinion american football is more athletic than soccer.  Running doing a bunch of drills in 100 degree heat with pads is pretty tough .

My opinion isn't really biased, but what I have observed through personal experience (Played Nose Guard and GK/ST). Trust me, I love both sports but was always a lot more tired after a soccer match when I wasn't tending the net.
