Word on the street is that they tried to put those pt6's on the piaggio in a pull configuration. But when they saw what they were supposed to be pulling around, most just imploded rather than be forced to service that monstrosity.

Meh....  I've always thought of Piaggio as the fat, ugly stepsister or the Beech Starship, which IS beautiful.

Ive always thought the beech was pretty too but they missed the mark I think. The winglets always looked to big to me.

I remember reading pilot reviews of the Starship and the Piaggio.


The only comparison item where the Starship was ahead was the looks. The Piaggio had it beat on everything else...
