I usually look for higher enemies to engage when im in my mustang. They usually make a few bnz passes, get frustrated and then engage me directly thinking they can easily out-turn me in thier Spit, 109, ETC...Problem is they are usually way too fast and end up engaging recklessly and its usually not a problem to get on their 6 and kill them. It's the patient ones who keep their E and dont fall for my bait that give me trouble. There are only a few guys who actually do that in the MA. The mustang takes a lot of crap because its such a popular plane and a lot of idiots and timid sissies fly it. There is however a small group of guys who know how to fly it right, and will always fight. This is why I always encourage people to look more at the player than the plane they fly. Of course the plane matters, but flying style and willingness to fight are things I look at more than anything when judging if someone is a worthy opponent or just another target. Even if a guy is not very good...the willingness to fight is something I really respect. Thats how you get good.
