Please let us help test the 410 by releasing it soon/now.  My whole squad will be happy to report bugs (if any) that we find.
I bet about 1000 other toon pilots would be happy to oblige as well   :rock

we stated in our forum that when the 410 comes it will be our squadrons plane of choice.  :)

I'll believe it once you last a couple weeks in it.  And I mean the squad  :)

*ears perk*

...Acceleration tests?  Are these posted somewhere, perhaps on the Internet?  This is relevant to my interests.

Wiley.
Yep.  I ran them for years and posted the results here.  I then think Guppy incorporated it into his interactive website that lets you look at all characteristics of aircraft.

Fighter Aircraft Test Results 150ft
Fighter Aircraft Test Results 18'000ft

I ran those tests 9 years ago  :O   wow. 9 years ago.

I am doing a bunch of 150-200 and 200-250 acceleration tests as part of my fighter-bomber performance evaluations.  If there is any of those you want to know about tell me which and if I haven't tested it already I'll do those and let you know.

Hint: The Hurricane Mk IIc accelerates very poorly from 200 to 250 while carrying two 500lb bombs.  :p
Surprise: The WrG21 launchers have no drag penalty on the Bf110G-2 after they have been fired.

I have been doing climb tests using the default auto-speeds with Alt-X.  Does setting the auto-speed to 175 and 225 reveal something I am not understanding?  I saw last night that the P-51D and P-38L both use 174 as their default and the Mosquito VI used 168.

For your test they the are Karnak, for any giving speed, Acceleration * x = Climbrate. Where X is just a constant based on your units.

I.E. Climb rate and acceleration are just different units of the same thing.
Your acceleration test should very closely match the climb rate test at the different speeds 175 just happens to be between 150 and 200.

Here's the long version if you're interested Karnak.

Yes, that I understood.

The reason I started doing the acceleration tests was because I couldn't get a good sustained climb speed near sea level.  Auto-speed takes too long to stabilize so I only use it for the climb tests at 5000ft and above.

I some times forget I have special commands that keep atmosphere at a given alt no matter what the altimeter reads.
