While posting in another thread "R 105" seems to have lost his Historic Gunsight Pac. Here is my latest.
AHHistoric.zip ===> http://www3.zippyshare.com/v/81824563/file.htmlThe gunsights are in country specific folders with readmes' explaining the gunsight to airplane association.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gunsights are constructed in 512x512 bitmap where 1Mil - 2Pixel.
Each gunsight (name.bmp) file has a corisponding (name.mil) file that must be copyed together into the Aces High Sights folder.----------------------------
Example:
BrtiM2.bmp and BritM2.mil
C:\HitechCreations\Aces High\sights
If you do not include the two files together the gunsight will appere in your aircraft's reflector plate too tiny to be usable.

Historic reticle projection colors for German Revi gunsights.Daytime reticle projection colors for Revi gunsights were white. Due to the light bulb filliments of the time there could be be a white reticle projected but, more often a slightly yelowish with red to orange edge highlights. The "Red" Revi reticle that HTC provides and some players create are incorrect as standard daytime gunsights.
Red Filters were used for nightime operations. The filters are called Rot-Filter or Nachtfilter. At the end of the war a Revi16N gunsight was produced with a blue night filter. Below are color photgraphes of Revi day and night projected reticle.
