ME-410 rear guns sound bug
« on: July 17, 2012, 08:38:04 PM »
If you hold "primary fire" or "fire all guns" on one tail gun from position 3 or 4 the gun firing sound continues after the rounds are expended. It also happens when you hold "fire all guns" from position 2 and only fire the gun on one side or the other. It only happens when the other gun has rounds left. After you cease fire it won't happen if you try to fire the empty gun again.

Also the #2 position initially shows 1 round loaded.

I couldn't even get the rear gun on the 410 to fire - the other turrets worked fine.

The center position,#2, is the control for the 2 side guns, there is no center rear gun.

You need to use Fire All to fire the rear guns.

You need to use Fire All to fire the rear guns.

You can fire from position 3 and 4 with primary fire. You only need Fire All  from position 2.

You need to use Fire All to fire the rear guns.

This a bit problematic though. I currenty have two trigger buttons which I set up for Primary and secondary. I need this to conserve cannon, when firing machine guns. If i have to map the trigger to fire all guns, then I have to set up the 410 with its own Mode. I'm out of buttons.   ;)

Can't the side guns be mapped to the secondary button when in the middle sight position?

This is still happening after patch 1. I realize it wasn't mentioned in the patch notes, just hoping the problem wasn't lost in the hijack.
If you hold "primary fire" or "fire all guns" on one tail gun from position 3 or 4 the gun firing sound continues after the rounds are expended. It also happens when you hold "fire all guns" from position 2 and only fire the gun on one side or the other. You also continue to see the muzzle flash after the rounds are expended but there aren't any tracers. It only happens when the other gun has rounds left. The other gun is not firing when this happens, the ammo counter on the other gun is not decrementing. After you cease fire it won't happen if you try to fire the empty gun again.
