alright something to research here.  I believe I read in several reviews that windows can only take advantage of ram up to 1600 or is that the mobo?  either that or that anything above that is not really an advantage.  so you can save yourself 100 bucks an order a 1600.

semp

edit:  make that a cpu limitation.

edit2:  I would also get a higher ps.  you never know down the road when the 750 is not good enough.

Actually power consumption is trending down.  The current crop of high end ATI cards use less power than the previous generation did.  Intel CPU's have also stepped down in power usage.

Not saying that it will stay that way, but all indicators from various players show high concerns over power usage of their respective parts and have taken steps to reduce it.

DuncanIdaho, you have selected an extended ATX M/B 12.0 x 10.1 .  According to the manufacture the largest M/B size that your Antec 900 case can hold is a standard ATX 12.0 x 9.6 .

Thank you sir.  Also, it is good idea to check with the manufacture on specification on your components, NewEgg is not always right...

I have the 810 switch and that thing makes my full sized ATX board look like a mini ATX. you might want to check that one out.

First, you'll find the CPU will not be taxed very much by AH. I rarely get to 15% load during the game according to Aida64. Ya done good with the video card tho and that's what's gonna take the hit with this game, or not in your case. I have a Z68/2600K/16gb vengeance/ZX1000w OCZ PSU rig I put together last year with a MSI R6950 Twin Frozr III card and it rocks this game with everything maxed out. The cooler on that card is outstanding.

You're gonna likey dat. :aok

I like to run a separate drive for the os and a raid1 mirror for everything else. Thats at least 3 drives minimum.

This separates the os from my data and gives me some fault tolerence if a drive fails. Important for storing pictures etc.

+1. makes all my components look smaller then they are... and the means of wire management that NZXT offers in it are truely outstanding if your looking for a clean inside.

My only humble suggestion would be:

Go with a Solid State HD...  Drop the size a TB is   amount of space.  :old: You could go half that size and get a SSHD. Or go with one that has a 10,000 rpm HD http://wdc.com/en/products/products.aspx?id=20

Use a smaller size hd for the system and then run a 7200rpm hd for pictures and music ect... Setting up a RAID in essence for the best use of performance not best use of storage space.
