Another member of the Funk Brothers unfortunately passes.

Bob Babbit  played Bass along with the late great james Jamerson and co-member of the Funk Brothers, has died.

James Jamerson is the standard by which all Bassists are now judged.  Bob was right up there, listening and

playing along with Jamerson on many Motown hits.  There but a few members of the Funk Brothers yet alive.

This news is a few weeks late.  I know Karaya knows.  But those of you who loved the sound of Motown must

realize The Funk Brothers were unique and actually were responsible for the Motown lables success.

Bass players who lived and played in the Detroit area have set the world standard for all Bassists.  All you

have to do is listen.
